TMI Tuesday #44

Yep! Its that day of the week again!

Do you or did you have an “our song” with a current or past significant other? What is the song?

Not “our song” kind of thing but there are certain songs that I did associate with some women in my life. I could make a whole playlist out of songs we used to sing along on a Manila Traffic or the ones that we make fun of. I used to play music, songs will always have a place in my head and in my heart. This reminds me of a note given by someone, in it holds wonderful poetry from Lang Leav called Soundtracks. It’s about a woman wondering what sorts of ghost hide behind the lyrics of songs that a man loved. Wondering if she is among those ghosts.

What is your most annoying habit?

I smoke a lot and I curse a lot. I tend to rub some people the wrong way with it. I do have some rules thou, like never in public, never in front of any children or my mom. It is one thing to have your habits and another to put others at risk because of it. I’m not sure if I’m just trying to justify myself, but what are we when we don’t set rules upon ourselves? Some rules should be broken, and some rules should be imposed. The tricky part is knowing what rules to break and what to follow.

You have been offered free plastic surgery for one part of your body, what will you fix?

Hmmm… Not sure to be honest. Not that I shun plastic surgery, I like it if it could help someone on their self-esteem. As for myself, I’m at the point that I’m okay with how I look yet at the same time, I’m all ears to for any suggestions. I’m always on the lookout to ways to improve myself, I’m not some guy who is so full of himself. I’m comfortable yet I’m not fragile about myself, I’m ok to drink a Cosmopolitan or an Appletini. Not my choice of drink but if someone offers them to me but I’d drink it.

A meteor is headed for your house. You have saved family, pets, your computer, and smartphone. You have time to save one more item, what will you save?

Cash savings, so that I can rebuild. That’s my practical answer, but if you’re looking for treasures that are worth saving – it would be my books and shoes. It may not be rare books or expensive shoes, but I spend a great amount of effort in accumulating those. Some have sentimental values while others are so difficult to get. The Dark Tower series took me a decade to complete and I even have to ask someone from the US for the first and second book. Some of my shoes even came from the US. But in end, those are still stuff – other things still need to move forward with or without those.

Would you reveal a deep dark, shameful or embarrassing secret about your partner for one million dollars?

Give me 2 million dollars and I’ll tell you everything you want to know! We’ll take your 2 million and split it and go live somewhere else (chuckle)! We can do a lot with 2 million dollars in the Philippines, rebuild like what I’m talking about on the last question. We could do much for my daugther’s future and ours! Hahaha! =)

Bonus: Which one of these do you have the most of a sense of humor, sense of time, sense of direction, sense of adventure?

Sense of humor. Sense of humor is often neglected by some men, and I don’t see why. The ability to boost other’s morale through laughter is indispensable. Having the ability to set people at ease is a gift that other men don’t seem to appreciate. I don’t get it why some men prefer to be serious or on guard all the time.

  1. All I can say is…that…You’re a real Mensch. That’s German for “Human Being.”

That, for some reason, is a real challenge for all the things you brought up, so that also makes you authentic…another word for “A real Human Being (for real)”

Love it! Thanks for the great TMI-Tuesday!

  2. 1. Interesting. Thanks for sharing.

    5. Hahaha. Well moving is one way to get around the trouble caused by telling secrets.

Bonus: Most women I know (myself included) LOOOOOVE a man that can make us laugh, laugh at himself, and find humour in life.
