Greetings! Here we are again for another monthly round-up at the blog. I enjoy creating this content as I can shift gears from my usual topics. Taking a break every once in a while does the mind wonders, don’t you think?
For this post, let’s talk about everything that happened this July.
What Happened in July
But before anything else, please like and subscribe to my blog. I would be absolutely obliged if you leave a comment and tell me what other topics you would like to see someday. Don’t forget to check me out on social media!
Now, there was I on a July morning.
Resigning from Work
July started with my resignation from work. It’s not that I don’t love the work I’m doing, but a year of graveyard shifts finally caught up with me. My cognitive state is suffering due to a lack of rest.
Now, I’m taking my time to relax and recuperate. Despite this, it has still been scary for me, and I still struggle with anxiety. Unemployment brings in many uncertainties. With that said, I’m making proper use of this moment to hone my writing skills while looking for a replacement job. I am taking a short course in SEO and copywriting to improve my resume.

Taking a Vacation
Right after my resignation, I booked one of the hotels on the beachfront. As I told you earlier, I’m in serious need of a vacation to recharge. Nothing soothes me more than the smell of the ocean breeze.
As expected, I had a delightful time. I had lunch with friends from out of town. Given how busy our lives have been, I finally got to catch up with them. I also went out on a dinner date with a dear friend.
All in all, that weekend is one for the books. It was a very satisfying break from my usual routine, and I look forward to having more memories like this.
Signing up for Tiktok
After years of reluctance, I’ve finally signed up for Tiktok. I’m enjoying it, to be quite frank. I accumulated a considerable volume of content here on the blog. It just makes sense to convert it into a short form format.
I have faith in my content, and it’s valuable to the right people. So, if I could reach a much broader audience, I wouldn’t hesitate to do it. I put my heart and soul into writing; it would be disappointing if it were for nothing.
Focusing on Patreon
Since I don’t have work right now, I kept myself occupied by creating content on Patreon. I have plenty of content ideas, like Q&As and interviews. Besides that, I’m also thinking of doing writing and SEO tutorials too.
I also started a new Patreon goal recently, I’m aiming to gather at least 13 patrons. As of now, I’m just four patrons away from my target. If you like to help out, I would indeed appreciate it.
July Round-up
- Boxer Briefs Review: Uniqlo AIRism – Is it Worth it?
- Toxic People: How to Cut Them Out of Your Life
- TMI Tuesday: Looky Looky!
- Skin Care for Men: A No-frills Guide
All in all, I have to admit that the past couple of weeks have been challenging for me. I’m not used to having so much time available that it’s making me anxious. The best thing I can do right now is to focus on my recovery.
There you have it, our round-up for July. I hope you all enjoy reading all about it. If you have any suggestions, leave a comment. I would love to hear about it!
See you again next time!
Hi Mr. A,
That is one amazing view. Enjoy your time off as it looks like a time of freedom for you. We usually need down time to get really clear on our direction in life; dissolving distractions and reducing busy-ness gives us a strong sense of focus.
