Greetings! Long days and pleasant nights! It has been quite a while, so let me begin by asking how you have been these days? I hope you are doing well yourself.
As for me, life has been kind to me lately. I am still doing my best to survive and live one day at a time. I did not expect I would get this far, to be honest.
As of now, I enjoy working as an offshore technical writer for a company in New York. The only concern I had at work was the schedule. I start my shifts at 9:00 pm and finish at 5:00 am, which disrupts my sleeping habits to a great extent.
On the bright side, I was able to work with exceptional individuals, and the company culture is superb. Plus, the pay was well worth it. I would be lying if the salary is not good – I am making almost twice as much as before.
With that said, I am writing today in hopes of catching up with my life as Mr. A. My passion for writing has not diminished. And if given a choice, I would still prefer writing here to any day job.

But the reality is that I have to eat and pay the bills. I have to do everything in my power not only to survive but also to thrive. I am nothing but a simple man who loves to write. Yet, his work, family, and life sometimes get in the way of his writing.
Writing is a lonely job indeed.
Speaking of paying my bills, please check out my Patreon and sponsor my future posts. For $1 a month, you get to support the blog and help make better content. In return, get access to exclusive content you cannot get anywhere else.
With your help, I get access to tools and attend workshops to improve my writing. I would also have the opportunity to write better content and topics. Your support would help in paying our bills.

What Happened in May?
So what does Mr. A been up to lately? Besides having an emergency fund at long last, I bought myself an insurance policy. I am still not sure if it was a wise financial move, but we will see it in the future.
If there is anything COVID taught me is that you must have contingencies. Not just in your finances but in every aspect of your life. Someday I will die – it is inevitable. What matters to me now is what I am going to leave behind.
Despite that, I am not eager to die either. So to manage my stress and be healthy, I am now going for frequent runs. I am not much of a cardio guy, I never liked endurance exercises, but it is still better than nothing. Hopefully, I could save enough for a garage gym. So, fingers crossed.
Lately, I wake up feeling exhausted. I am not sure if it is because of my work schedule or the walks, but I find myself stressed much. I hope it is nothing severe, that it just comes with age because it is starting to worry me. I hate waking up feeling like crap.
On a lighter note, I saw this adorable stuffed toy, and I cannot help but buy it for my daughter. If there is one thing I know well about her is that despite her age, she still loves plushies. I cannot make her happy all the time, but I can always try.
I also signed up for Zalora’s Community Influencer Program. It is a program that gives me an incentive every time someone uses my link to shop on Zalora. So, if you are planning on buying a pair of running shoes like these, please use this link. It would surely help, thanks!
So What’s In Store For the Future?
Well, June is my birth month – I will be turning 36. So, I am looking forward to that. What sort of challenges lies ahead?
As for this blog, I have some topics lined up right now. I only need to find some time to write it. I have a skincare post on hold as well as a review. I am also thinking of writing something that showcases my hometown and a style challenge.
So there you have it, these are the things that occupied me this May. I know it is not much, but it is something. So, I hope you enjoyed it, and I would love to hear what you think. See you again next time.
I almost forgot, do not forget to check out my previous post!

Mr. A! I’m so glad to see you’ve come back. You know, all of that warning revenge for fooling me one time, I thought I’d scared you away! I’m so pleased to hear your job is going well though and well done for taking out insurance. I always used to hold off on insurance, then I had a kitchen fire and had to replace much of my home. If I had insurance then I would have been able to get a pay out and be back on my feet within a month or two, that was a big learning curve for me, right there. Needless to say, even my dog has an insurance policy now!

Of course Mr A, not a bad bone jn my body, provided you stay on my good side anyway 😉 unfortunately not, and the same can be said for me – one minute I’m playing in the backyard and now I’m here, with aching, crunchy parts. I’m well thank you, busy with SEO and housework, it never ends! The results are worth it though 😁

If you have a Android device, try OurFlat on the Google Play store. It’s free, and you can use it for just you or with your family too. I have tasks set on there like “Edit SEO on 10 posts” every three days, and “reply to comments” every two. You don’t have to use the same time span, obviously, but I find that it really helps me manage my time and get what I need to get done, done. It helps me stay more on task with looking after myself, too. Foot spa night tonight? Don’t mind if I do 😉
