Now, it’s time for our TMI!

What’s for breakfast?

Much like today’s theme, I was so busy today that I skipped breakfast. As soon as I woke up, I went straight to the bank for an errand. I still haven’t gotten my first salary from work due to some issues with the bank. Hopefully, my trip to the bank solves it.

As for the first thing I ate today, my lunch was crispy pata that my mom made. I was craving Lechon kawali last night, and I’m so happy that I had crispy pata for lunch. The meal was pleasant and fulfilling; it’s so good that I had no problem cranking out 5500 words today. 

Three words you don’t want to hear during sex.

I can’t think of any. To tell you the truth, I’d rather hear my partners complain than hear nothing at all. The shameful awkward silence is what I find very insulting as if they regret the moment they spent with me. They know it’s bad but they are too polite to tell you it’s bad. I don’t want to spend time with that. 

Stupid shit you shouldn’t do but do anyway. List two.

Overeating and getting less sleep. The recent turn of events has had a drastic effect on my health. I gained a significant amount of weight since last year. Now that I found work, I’ve been saving to buy myself a gym membership.

I also experienced a decline in the quality of my sleep. I’ve been getting an average of 4-5 hours of sleep. As a result, it affected my mood; leaving me stressed out and irritable. By the way, please check out my Mi Smart Band 6 review if you are looking for an affordable fitness tracker. 

One thing you love to hate.

I love to hate on rude people. Last night, I wrote a diss on social media regarding my unruly neighbors. They are getting rowdy and out of control, resulting in a scuffle with local authorities.

“Pag ang kutis ‘sing kulay ng banil na hindi maalis, wag maingay baka ako’y mainis. Wag agawin, atensyon ko kung ika’y hindi din naman kaakit-akit. Hayaan mo na lang ang laway mo’y mapanis. Itago mo na din mukhang mong pangit.”

Today is a great day for _____.

Today is a great day to look for new opportunities. As I mentioned earlier, today is one hell of a day. My schedule is so full at work, and I just finished a job interview. As much as I love the work I’m doing right now, I am aware that it is not permanent. The contract says it’s good for two months and it will be up for negotiations.

I’m already taking steps so that I can transition smoothly and avoid any vacant time. I’d still prefer a writing job because it puts me one step closer to my dreams of publishing a book. A lot of people counted me out, and I want to prove my worth.

  1. The rule of three stands out to me here. Balance! 8 hours work, 8 hours play, and of course 8 hours sleep. When one gets out of balance, it direly affects the other two. Of course, physical exercise is a must, as it creates the internal environment necessary for positive emotional states. I think the pandemic has had a drastic effect on being able to create an environment that nurtures balance but keep chasing the dream.
