What Happened in March (2021)…

Greeting Barbarians! Long days and pleasant nights!

Discipline and diligence are something that I am proud of myself. If I must do something, then I go ahead and do it. I devote most of my waking hours to writing because I want to reach an undeniable level of success. I have an overwhelming desire to make something out of myself as a writer.

March is about to end, and April is swiftly approaching. In a few weeks, I would be celebrating my third year as a content creator. It is such a fantastic journey so far, filled with friends and experiences. But, it is also not all rainbows and sunshine. I got some criticism, but I handled it well. I cannot ask a hater to stop hating as much as begging a shark to stop being a shark.

All in all, being a blogger is a blessing. Where else I could find a job where people pay me to take care of myself and my family. To friends and patrons, thank you!

Before we proceed, I am raffling off a writing course from Udemy when I reach my Patreon goal for March. It was one of the first investments I made when I was still a budding writer. Please subscribe to my Patreon for a chance to join the raffle.

For as low as $1 a month, you get to access tons of bonus content and behind the scenes. You get the power to choose what you want to see here on the blog. For the same price as a pack of gum, you are making all the difference for us.

If you like this post and would like more content like this, please check out my Patreon! I would appreciate it!

I almost forgot, please LIKE, COMMENT, and SUBSCRIBE! It helps!

Now, let us continue!

If you noticed, I have been busy this March. If ever I forgot to reply to any comments, I am sorry. I did not mean to ignore you; I have a lot on my plate lately.

Who knew dealing with the bank can be an arduous undertaking. I am still short of the money we need, and I am working on cutting a deal with them. I am composing a formal letter to present to the bank, asking them if they could cut the down payment by 10%. It is a long shot, but I am willing to take it. I hope they will finally agree.

I also joined a contest called The Shopback Blogging Challenge. Please check out my entry and share it on your social media. It would increase my chances of winning.

By the way, I have great news!

After months of careful consideration, I finally found the guts to open up a bookshop. I named it The Barbarian Bookshop. We are an online bookshop that offers contemporary classics. We also offer pre-orders!

As of now, we have a small inventory. Hopefully, we could expand in the future. If you have some time, please check The Barbarian Bookshop on Facebook and Instagram!

Now, time for my March in pictures!

My daughter got grounded last time because of bad grades. So when she worked to get her scores up, I got her something as a reward.

Also, she is practicing on her sketches. The kid has talent, and I am saying that not because I am her dad.

My old French press broke, so I bought a new one. I love coffee! Come to think of it; I could bundle the coffee with the books! If that is an exceptional idea, please comment below.

I also bought some drugstore-grade skincare. After many months of not having any skincare routine, I went to the drug store to get some. It is so pleasing to have youthful skin!

My first inventory arrived! I am very excited about this venture. Again, if you have time, please check out The Barbarian Bookshop on Facebook and Instagram .

I am a huge Dragonball fan, and I am sharing my love of it with my nephew. I bought him a copy of Dragonball Super manga for him to enjoy. It is clear how much I love books; I am a voracious reader. When I was a boy, my mom used to buy me local comic books when she went to the market. That started my passion for reading and collecting books. If I could help a kid discover their love for books, I would do it.

There you have it, that is my March! I hope you enjoy reading about it. How about you, how did your March go? I would love to hear all about it!

  1. Mr. A, best wishes with your venture into the delights of books. Your daughter’s sketches offer a smile with my morning coffee. Perhaps someday someone will discover an anthology of poems and short stories on a dusty bookshelf. Even Big Sky Buckeye dreams!
