Tell us what you think, are the following overrated or underrated? Why?
It looks fabulous, then I saw the brand. Bags are not my thing but this one looks simplistic yet elegant. I can’t blame people who love this bag, especially with the price tag. It makes me wonder about the quality, though. To be frank, I cannot afford this. It would be a fine gift to someone if ever I become rich enough to afford it. Well, there are always cheaper ones with superior quality that are not knock-offs. Don’t buy knock-offs, it is a waste of money.
Underrated, if you can afford it. Overrated, if not.
I have not owned an iPhone to give a conclusive verdict on this. I do have a background in programming and technology if that is worth anything. There is no doubt that there are aspects of the iPhone that are solid compared to android phones. Look at the cheap phones that come preloaded with apps that steal your information. Now, it all comes down to your lifestyle and needs. If you can afford it, there is nothing wrong with owning an iPhone. But if you cannot, you have to ask yourself if you need the features. As a blogger, I need a phone that allows me to take brilliant pictures. I also need my social media and messaging apps. I’m using a Huawei Nova 2i that came with a care package I have received from Serendipity Coffee Beans and Grounds.
Same as the Birkin bag, if you need it and you could afford it then it is worth it.
Writing a book and self-publishing
I am a bit biased on this because I have been wanting to write a book for some time now. I dream of getting published and doing a book tour or book signing. It is a huge deal for me. I grew up in a family of non-readers so I don’t have that much access to books. Now that I am an adult, I aim to read as many books as I can. I hope I could start writing a manuscript at the beginning of 2021 or as soon as my house problems are over.
Speaking of house problems, November marks the last leg of my fundraiser. I’m well aware of the skepticism regarding this fundraiser but, if you could help us, I would surely appreciate it.

Scruffy, short beards
Another bias, I cannot grow a decent beard. I am one of those unfortunate Asian men who are as smooth as a baby’s butt. I did try growing a beard and a mustache but it was not how I expected it to be. I got fed up with how expensive cartridge razors are, so I use scissors to trim my facial hair. I am thinking of buying an old-timey safety razor from my Patreon money.
I love hoodies, it is a staple in any wardrobe. It is functional as it is stylish and versatile. You cannot go wrong with a hoodie. You could wear it any way you like casual wear. But…
It is an understatement… Much like undergarments, it is a staple, it is not overrated or underrated. It is what it is, a staple, there is no need for a debate.
I love HIIT. But I will tell this, one should train according to their goals, not to the latest trends. From what I have experienced, any form of training, program, or diet, works if you keep working at it. I remember how people swear by intermittent fasting like it was magic when it was trending. There is no doubt HIIT works, but it is not all there is to it. Train according to your goal. Have strength training days, conditioning days, and sport-specific days. And please, never skip leg days.
Ah, the rare instance where the hype is justified, Need a quick style tip? I got you! Briefs if you are on a bit of a slender or leaner side. Boxer short if you are a bit stout or muscular then Boxer briefs if you are someone between. There is a reason behind the hype of boxer briefs, they cater to the majority of body types. Oh, another underwear tip, be daring, wear colors because tidy whities are never sexy.
Overrated and justified.
Bonus: Avocado toast. Overrated or underrated?
Have not tried it and I do not plan on trying it.
Before I end this post, I’d like to thank my friends for their support during this difficult time. You made us believe that we are worth something when people seem to turn their backs on us. I’m so thankful for your friendship and support. I wish this would be over soon. Maraming salamat at mahal ko kayo!
