Do It For Love – A Valentine’s Day Post

Greetings Barbarian! Long days and pleasant nights!

Valentine’s day is fast approaching, I hope you all have dates but if not, I could take you out for a date on the 14th. To tell you the truth, I enjoy taking out a lady friend for a movie and dinner.

I never was one to give flowers or lavish gifts to a woman. I never could afford it, not back then and not now. But, what I lack in finance, I make up with my effort. You see, I was never a rich man, maybe it was bad luck or plain laziness but I never was well off.

Before we hop into it, I would first like to thank you for another great day for blogging. Thank you all for encouraging me to write another post. You all have allowed me to speak and for you to hear me, thank you so much! We have become one big family here and I can’t help but appreciate what you have given me. With that said, please like and subscribe to this blog, follow us on social media, share this with your friends, help us reach 3k subscribers. Together, let us build a great community that helps each other!

I would like to give special thanks to the following:

Thank you for being awesome! You guys are the best!

Gentlemen, have you ever done or said something to your woman to shut her up?  Has she been nagging you so much that it left you no choice but to say or do what she asks? Have you done or said such things out of resentment and contempt?

Believe me when I say that I have been there, and it is hard and I understand. As men, we all want our women to be happy but it is very easy for us to get caught up with our emotions. We get frustrated, humiliated, and angry whenever we are forced to say or do things we don’t want. It is easy for us to forget to do or say things out of love.

Gentlemen, make sure that everything you do or say to your women or in life is out of love. Make sure that every time she asks you to take out the trash, you do it out of love, not of resentment. Let your actions and words inside or outside the bedroom be an ultimate expression of your love.

Never be mediocre in giving out love to your women and the world. Like I always say, it is better to give 30 minutes of your undivided attention than an hour of distracted affection. It is always “go big or go home” when it comes to your love, let it be your reason for why you do this all.

The feminine wants men who fill them with love because it is love that touches them to the core. Women look for the reason behind the gifts or gestures, not the gift or gesture itself. They can sense if what you said or done is out of love or not. So, the next time you find yourself about to say or do something to your woman, remind yourself to do it out of love.

A man’s life is of duty, I know that you are getting tired of that line but that is the way it is. Life measures a man by what he can do, not what he has. His relationship with a woman is a test of a man’s capacity for love. His ultimate expression of love is his ability to make his woman bloom, his ability to make his woman feel loved.

To Courage and Freedom, and of Love!!!

“Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. Those who wish to sing always find a song. At the touch of a lover, everyone becomes a poet.”

  1. 🙂 My husband expresses a lot of love through providing stuff. Just this afternoon, he replaced my computer mouse when the old one broke — within minutes. Love doesn’t always look like candy or flowers, for sure!

  2. My partner does not give what is best from a general social standard. Instead, he always gives me the best of him to assure me I am enough. And that is grand for me. In the perspective of a significant other, it is also up to us to see the reasons for our partner’s gestures, never the cost or the size of it.

  3. Reading this post made me think of that Christmas commercial when the M&M’s met Santa and said, “Wow, they really DO exist!!!” LMAO! Romance IS NOT DEAD – it really does exist in some men! Thank you for enlightening a true love skeptic
