TMI Tuesday #51

Please, do yourself a favor and judge a book by its cover…

Tell us something weird about yourself.

I’m not sure about this, but what exactly is weird? What seems to be normal to me maybe weird for others so I’m a bit unsure about what to say. Would it be weird if I say I love the Filet o’ Fish sandwich from McDonald’s? Or if I don’t judge how good a song is by the song itself but rather the whole album?

If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be and why?

Where my two feet are planted right now, in front of the computer and answering this question. I am very fond of Nietzsche’s concept of Amor Fati (love of fate). If you would rather do something else or be somewhere else, then why not do it or be there in the first place? Stop making excuses and learn to love what you do.

What can someone do to make you feel more loved?

I’d be honest, I don’t know the answer to this. I stopped relying on anyone to feel special or loved, if I want to feel special, I’d make myself special. I don’t think it’s anyone’s responsibility but mine. The mere fact that someone chooses me and enjoys my company is enough for me.

What are 2 good qualities that first drew you to your current or last significant other?

Does busty and a nicely shaped waist count? Of course, it does. A lot of people would tell you that looks don’t matter, but it does. In my opinion, that is the silliest thing a person can say to another person. When you first see a person, you won’t see how nice they are or any of that fluff that most people talk about. What you will see is, how well they take care of themselves, do they look like they took a shower or not. The thing is, there is a lot of feel-good yet stupid advice out there; you must be able to judge what is useful for you. Presentation matters.

What 2 qualities in your significant other (current or last) can send you running far, far away from them?

Like I said, Amor fati.

Bonus: What does your partner miss the most about you when you are apart?

Idk, you need to ask her yourself for that.

  1. Ha ha!! I like this meme. Might have to try it out, myself! I also agree with you about naming something weird…. I think that everything I do is completely normal.. TO ME. But, I get told I’m weird all the time. So, maybe I’m weird? Guess I’ll never understand. Doesn’t everyone do a “mandatory dance break” at their place of business?? If not. They should.
