Sunshine Blogger Award Nomination

Greetings Barbarians! Long days and pleasant nights!

The wonderful K. Alice Compeau @ https://kalicecompeau.com/ has nominated me for the Sunshine blogger award!

At first, I could not believe it! Thank you, Alice, for this recognition! I can’t seem to find the right words to say how much I appreciate this.

Along with this nomination are a few of Alice’s questions that I would be happy to answer!

Here are K. Alice Compeau Questions:

  1. What is your favorite book?

The Alchemist – Paulo Coelho

The book is just life-changing and a must-read for anyone who feels like they are not the protagonist of their own story.

  1. What do you think makes a good story?

A story with no absolutes. No absolute good and no absolute evil, it must be compelling and relatable. It must have the right amount of humor despite its genre.

  1. Dogs or Cats?

Dogs. I once have a dog named Nercobutcher, but he passed away. I haven’t got myself a new dog after that heartbreak.

  1. Savory or Sweet?

Savory. I’m not much into sweets.

  1. Beach or Forest?

Both

  1. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I’m not much of a traveller, but my daughter asked me once if we could visit Paris.

  1. How do you like to relax?

Read a book, beers and Netflix and shine my shoes.

  1. What inspires you?

A lot of things, but I do tend to go with things that made sense but forgotten nowadays.

  1. Are you a morning person or a night owl?

Night Owl!

  1. Have you ever broken a bone?

Nope, just a cracked rib and a bump from a car accident a few years ago. Come to think of it, it was Mother’s Day when it happened.

  1. What is your biggest fear?

Flying and rats…

And part of this nomination is to nominate other bloggers and ask a few questions for them…

Here are my nominees:

Questions for my nominees:

  • Can you tell me at least 4 of your core values in life and explain why? (What is truly important to you in life?)
  • What are your Non-negotiable, Unalterable Terms in life?
  • Tell us about your relationship with your dad (or anyone that stood as your father figure)? Share your fondest memories with him.
  • When you die, how do you want the people to remember you?
  • Tell us about the last time you reconnected with a friend?
  • For the girls, which do you prefer on guys, rock-hard abdominals or well-developed buttocks? For the guys, which do you prefer, to have rock-hard abdominals or a well-developed buttock?
  • Tell us about the last time you feel so proud of yourself?
  • Give us 3 shoes that you consider to be essential to any man’s wardrobe?
  • Again, give us 3 books that you think every man should read?
  • I will indulge myself this time, what do you like about this blog and is there anything you like to see in the future?
  • In case you didn’t know, the month of May is masturbation month. If you could be so kind and tell us about your thoughts on masturbation (it doesn’t have to be freaky, just your honest opinion about it)?

    1. Ah yes! The Alchemist is life changing.
I probably won’t be blogging if I haven’t read that. I’d be probably still be doing a dead end job and waiting for people and things to come.

I miss my dog, and it’s been a while!

      And the rats…. I don’t wanna talk about the rats… hehehehe =)
